Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Unload, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations. Prepare, package, and label customer orders for shipment, then coordinate daily deliveries using parcel and freight carriers. Complete shipping documentation including packing slips, bills of lading, and freight paperwork. Monitor inventory levels, communicate shortages or discrepancies, and assist with inventory counts. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely while maintaining an organized, clean, and safe environment. Work closely with production to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with occasional overtime based on production demands.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to accurately complete shipping documentation and maintain records
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification after hire
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
- Safely operate warehouse equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager
- Experience using ERP or inventory management software (EFI, PrintSmith, EPMS, Dynamics, Epicor, SAP, PrintIQ, or similar)
- Experience coordinating LTL and common carrier freight shipments
- Previous experience in commercial printing, manufacturing, graphics, or distribution
