Job Summary
Track daily shipping loads and print shipper documents for contractors to deliver. Scan returned shippers to Accounts Payable and file records. Coordinate transportation arrangements for customer requests and guide PDI, forklift drivers, and others to the correct direction. Maintain open communication with departments handling chassis while prioritizing tasks under physically active conditions involving 98% standing and walking. This full-time hourly role requires high school diploma and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals
- Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to measurements, directions, instructions, etc.
- Must possess successful problem-solving skills
- Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.
- Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations
- Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day
- Must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must be able to see close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing and production is preferred, 5 years of experience
