Job Summary
Directs and assists shipping supervisors in directing the activities of shipping personnel on assigned shift to separate and accurately ship product. Responsible for training on care and safe operation of equipment, reviewing records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials, and maintaining product quality and safety. Ensures equipment is in good condition, promotes interdepartmental communication, maintains a safe working environment through enforced safety policies, may substitute for absent staff, plans and adjusts work assignments to cover all phases of shipping, keeps work area clean, ensures compliance with company policies (EEO, Safety, etc.), and performs other duties as directed. Requires four or more years of shipping experience and a high school diploma or equivalence; salary range is $22.28/hour.
