Job Summary
Oversee packaging, processing, and shipping of all parts and chair orders by preparing products for shipment using Sunrise standard procedures and ERP systems to generate shipping documentation. Communicate with freight companies and internal stakeholders to address past due orders, expedites, and workload distribution while maintaining proper packaging material stock levels. Monitor department scoreboards for daily goals, shortages, quality, and safety, ensuring CTPAT compliance and supporting physical inventory processes. Work closely with Manufacturing Controller and Materials Manager to maintain production flow and follow all safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of JDE system
- Knowledge of KANBAN system
- Ability to read and comprehend (in English) simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Static Strength -- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 40 pounds
