Job Summary
Coordinate daily shipping activities by supervising associates, ensuring orders are picked, packed, staged, and loaded accurately, and verifying shipments against documentation. Process inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System, resolve discrepancies and exceptions, and conduct daily stand-ups to review safety and workload priorities. Assign and monitor work activities, collaborate with Inventory Control and Transportation teams, and ensure the facility remains compliant with all safety standards. Maintain clean, organized workspaces, correct unsafe conditions, and secure the facility at day's end. Work 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of warehouse, distribution, shipping, or lead experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with shipping operations, inventory control processes, and warehouse management systems
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and warehouse systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance
- Comfortable with continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and reaching for up to 8 hours per day in a warehouse environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Steel-toed boots or shoes
