Job Summary
Coordinate daily shipping activities by supervising and training Shipping Associates to ensure orders are picked, packed, staged, and loaded accurately. Verify shipments against documentation, process inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System, and resolve discrepancies regarding shortages or damages. Conduct daily stand-up meetings to review safety and workload priorities while collaborating with Inventory Control, Quality, and Transportation teams. Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures and safety requirements are followed, correct unsafe conditions, and secure the facility at day's end. Work the 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday shift, with overtime available as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of warehouse, distribution, shipping, or lead experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with shipping operations, inventory control processes, and warehouse management systems
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and warehouse systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance
- Comfortable with continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and reaching for up to 8 hours per day in a warehouse environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Steel-toed boots or shoes
