Job Summary
Track daily shipping loads in process and print shipper documents for contractors to deliver. Maintain returned shippers by scanning to Accounts Payable and file them. Assist with customer requests to arrange and communicate transportation needs. Guide PDI, forklift drivers, and drivers to the correct direction. Lead coordination efforts with up to 10 people while managing communication across departments. Prioritize tasks and adapt to daily changes under physically demanding conditions requiring 98% standing and walking.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals
- Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to measurements, directions, instructions, etc.
- Must possess successful problem-solving skills
- Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.
- Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations
- Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day
- Must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
- Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing and production is preferred, 5 years of experience
