Job Summary
Enter data for shipping and receiving orders and resolve invoicing or on-hand count issues with internal and external customers. Ensure transaction document accuracy for incoming and outgoing materials while evaluating shipments against state, federal, and global restrictions. Schedule transportation for truckload and less than truckload shipments, assist with loading and unloading, and scan or tag items as needed. Serve as the SAP system resource expert on the team and provide process or safety improvement ideas. Adhere to environmental, health, and safety rules while maintaining a clean, organized work area using 5S+ principles. Core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm with shift differential pay.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience in logistics or warehouse environment
- High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- Ability to follow procedures and written instructions
- Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures
- Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and bend frequently
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience using SAP
- Previous experience with fork lifts
- Basic working knowledge and experience with computers
