Job Summary
Load and unload carrier trucks for pick-ups and deliveries while accurately picking, staging, and preparing outbound orders according to shipping documentation. Coordinate outbound shipments with logistics carriers and internal teams to ensure on-time departures, updating shipping logs, ERP systems, and tracking tools for real-time visibility. Palletize and shrink wrap materials for LTL shipments, operate equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely, and troubleshoot common issues like damaged freight or carrier delays. Maintain all shipping paperwork accurately, ensure compliance with DOT regulations and HazMat handling requirements, and provide backup support across all shipping, picking, packing, and receiving areas.
Required Qualifications
- Use of, or access to, information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations
- U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, political asylee, or refugee status
- Passport, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization (USCIS Form N-550 or N-570), or Permanent Resident Card (USCIS Form I-551)
- Minimum of one year of related experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to remain standing for extended periods
- Flexibility on some weekends and evenings
- Extreme attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Domestic and international shipping experience
- Experience with shipping / handling hazardous goods
- Forklift Operator experience
