Job Summary
Shipping Coordinator-PM position responsible for accurately weighing linen received from and sent to clients, entering data for soiled/clean linen into the system, and monitoring soil section to maintain workflow on the production floor. Includes maintaining a clean soil area, staging carts, assisting drivers and supervisors, and performing related duties as assigned. Requires experience in a commercial laundry, strong communication and organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with data entry, data programs, client numbers, and basic computer skills is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of experience preferably in a commercial Laundry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Superior attention to detail
- Results-oriented with effective problem solving and reasoning ability
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with all levels and cultures and in all formats written, verbal, presentation, and must have strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated good judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; read and write; perform mathematical calculations
- Ability to perform data entry accurately
