Shipping Coordinator - First Shift

Job Summary
Coordinate shipping activities within a warehouse, learning and assisting the current Shipping Coordinator to ensure 100% On Time Delivery. Utilize SAP to determine daily shipments, troubleshoot material inventory or system errors to keep shipments aligned with the planned dates, and perform tasks in warehouse operations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of distribution/warehouse experience; SAP experience and JD Edwards preferred; forklift experience encouraged. This role supports opportunity for growth within Thermo Fisher Scientific’s global logistics team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in distribution/warehouse or related field
- Strong exposure to SAP; JD Edwards preferred
- Preferred forklift/powered industrial trucks experience
