Job Summary
Prepare shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, and submit export information into computer software. Learn and apply domestic shipping laws while generating shipment data and filling out all required customer and legal documentation. Schedule freight carrier pickups, work with forwarders, and affix labels to shipments. Review sales orders for special instructions, enter data to engrave tags on valves, and visually inspect quality. Pack valves with protective foam, palletize orders, build crates, and use pallet jacks or forklifts to move and load inventory. Work independently and as part of a team, following written instructions to process shipments from beginning to end. Schedule may vary from 40 hours based on production needs.
Required Qualifications

- Attention to detail and organization skills
- Must be punctual and have a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Previous knowledge of shipping
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
- Ability to use a pallet jack
- Ability to learn and understand shipping regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to process shipment from beginning to end for domestic shipments
- Must be able to work more or less than 40 hours/week as part of their regular schedule based on production needs
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to operate and experience driving a forklift
