Job Summary
Prepare and maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory. Receive incoming materials, inspect shipments per company procedures, and store, organize, and issue supplies as needed. Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts safely, and assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the facility. Distribute packages and letters internally while keeping stock areas clean and orderly. Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required based on business demand.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter and maintain information
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing 45–60 lbs. individually
- Ability to perform buddy lifts of materials weighing up to 120 lbs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent work schedule
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment and work around moving machinery
- Ability to perform occasional outdoor receiving and loading activities
- Ability to perform tasks requiring close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or material-handling experience
- Previous manufacturing or aerospace industry experience
- Forklift certification or demonstrated experience operating a forklift
