Job Summary
Shipping Clerk responsible for verifying and logging shipments, invoicing and tagging orders, and loading shipments (including PSST and R&L) at a fast, accurate pace. Manually load pallets, interact with customers and internal departments, respond to inquiries by phone or e-mail, and use RF unit with the Internal Operating System to ensure accuracy of shipping details. Meet production and accuracy standards, operate or maintain equipment as needed, and comply with safety regulations. Lift equipment certification may be required every three years. Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Less than 1 year of warehouse experience
- Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information
- Basic math skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to learn Internal Operating System(s) and operate Radio Frequency (RF) unit
- Proficient typing and data entry skills
- May be required to complete and maintain Lift Operator Certification every three years
- Demonstrates ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities
