Shipping Clerk

Job Summary
Process customer orders, prepare packing slips and bills of lading, and verify incoming material quantities and documentation accuracy. Schedule carriers, coordinate transportation, and resolve shipping discrepancies while maintaining accurate records. Work with warehouse and production personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment, support inventory control and cycle counts, and conduct required equipment inspections. Read tape measures, follow all safety policies and OSHA requirements, and complete forklift certification when needed. Perform duties in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and warehouse environment around moving equipment and material handling vehicles
- Required use of personal protective equipment as designated by company policy
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Shipping, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and shipping software
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
