Job Summary
Process and ship ophthalmic products by scanning inventory from Final Inspection, preparing invoices, packaging items with protective foam, and coordinating shipments through various carriers. Sort packaged items into designated customer bins, box shipments with appropriate labels, and maintain shipping records. Return empty trays to the Receiving department. This role ensures vision correction products reach patients accurately and on time, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Shift runs 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, at a rate of $18.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read prescriptions
- Able and willing to work as a team
- Able to read and write in English, basic proficiency
- Have good eyesight, had/eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail and patience
- Can work independently
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs regularly
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Distance and color vision required
