Job Summary
Process outbound shipments by picking products, printing packing slips and labels, packaging materials, and loading items to carriers. Provide visual inspections of orders for accuracy, noting discrepancies and escalating as appropriate, while investigating problem orders to ensure timely resolution. Handle aircraft parts in accordance with quality manuals, preparing them for shipment and cleaning as required. Ensure correct shipment of international and hazardous material orders while maintaining exactness and conformance to policies. Coordinate with the supply chain and Carpentry Shop to meet customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A High School diploma
- Experience in Shipping or Materials Management
- The ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and discretion in dealings with co-workers
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- Regular interaction and coordination with team members at all levels of our supply chain
- Interaction with our Carpentry Shop
- Entrepreneurial, challenging, competitive, flexible, fast-paced, and fun
