Job Summary
Shipping Clerk will coordinate the administrative processes of the shipping team to ensure smooth operations, inventory accuracy, and data integrity. Responsibilities include creating shipping documents (sales orders, bill of ladings, manifests, and purchase orders), monitoring inbound/outbound movement of fruit to/from the cold storage warehouse, ensuring orders meet customer specs and are shipped timely, greeting drivers on arrival, maintaining food safety records, reporting inventories and exceptions, updating NAV system, and supporting various clerical and operational duties as needed in a packinghouse/cold storage environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in shipping logistics or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail.
- Good precision and organization skills.
- Dependable - reliable and responsible.
- Ability to multitask.
- Follow all shipping guidelines set by the company.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of associates.
- Flexible with hours of operations.
