Job Summary
Breakdown pre-assembled units and modular structures per shipping schedule, then build skids and containers for safe transport. Pack disassembled components and stage them for shipment while operating a forklift, saws, shrink wrappers, and nail guns per safety procedures. Perform activities at heights and work flexible hours including mandatory overtime and weekends. This entry-level role in Red Bud, IL is ideal for candidates with carpentry or pallet building experience who can read blueprints and tape measures.
Required Qualifications
- High mechanical aptitude
- Experience with handheld tools (drill, circular saw) and assembling parts
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Supplying personal tool requirements per department list
- Strong math and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to perform job responsibilities at heights
- Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to frequent and mandatory overtime, and weekends
- Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment

Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- One (1) to two (2) years of manufacturing and/or industrial construction experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to operate a forklift and crane
- Previous experience with forklift and crane operation
- Experience with carpentry/pallet building
