Shipping Clerk I

Shipping Clerk I performs shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment tasks, checks goods against purchase orders/invoices, maintains records, packs and prepares products for shipment, posts weights and shipping charges, may operate a forklift, and may handle international and domestic shipments. Requires ability to lift heavy items, use bar code/RF scanners, train coworkers on equipment, and comply with distributor requirements including packing, labeling, and paperwork. Works Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm; requires high school diploma or GED and distribution/warehouse experience; forklift certification preferred. Neogen emphasizes safe handling of all shipments and adherence to packaging and documentation standards.
