Job Summary
Receives and stores raw materials; picks, packs and prepares orders for shipment; operates forklift or uses hand truck to move shipments from storage to shipping area; assists with cycle counts; verifies item counts/weights against orders; determines method of shipment; affixes shipping labels and identifies shipping information on containers; assembles containers; inserts items; stamps/stencils glues shipping information; posts weights/shipping charges and applies postage; maintains inventory of shipping materials; adheres to safety and quality standards; performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Fork truck certified
