Job Summary
Pick, pack, and check orders to ensure quality and timely processing while operating integrated warehouse systems including handheld barcode scanners. Observe inventory levels to prevent product shortages and maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination while handling food and food contact products in accordance with Good Distribution Practices. Report food safety concerns immediately if open food products are found, then set them aside for disposal. Use and understand Personal Protective Equipment while following company policies and safety guidelines. Achieve individual performance standards and perform other duties as required. Work the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Monday through Friday in our automated warehouse in Anoka, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work flexible schedule with occasional overtime and/or weekend hours for full-time shifts
- Ability to use stairs to work on a second level of the shipping floor
- Ability to lift, push/pull up to 40 lbs., bend, stoop, or reach above the shoulders and below the knees in a fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate verbally with co-workers and supervisors
- Ability to follow instruction on work processes
- Ability to maintain working relationship with co-workers and supervisors
- Strong attention to detail
- Possess problem solving and decision-making skills
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Prior shipping experience
