Job Summary
Load and unload trucks using a forklift, prepare outgoing materials by labeling, palletizing, and shrink wrapping, and complete shipping-related paperwork. Visually inspect incoming materials for damage or missing product and perform assigned housekeeping tasks. Transport materials between adjacent buildings and interact professionally with customers and truck drivers. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read written instructions, and wear required personal protective equipment including Tyvek suits and chemical-resistant gloves.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork/documentation
- Ability to use a calculator to do basic calculations and arithmetic using different units of measurement
- Able to use hand tools and closure equipment (utility knife, wrenches, clamps, etc.)
- Ability to interact professionally with third parties such as customers and truck drivers
- Basic computer proficiency
- Attention to detail with respect to correct labeling and paperwork
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., Tyvek suit, chemical-resistant gloves, protective footwear, eye and face protection)
- Must be able to use a forklift to load and unload trucks
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must be able to confirm employment eligibility via E-Verify
