Job Summary
Shipping Clerk responsible for maintaining inventory records, preparing items for shipment, verifying shipment information against bills of lading and orders, tracking delivery dates and related shipment details, and assisting with daily stocking levels; collaboratively supports Sales to ensure on-schedule shipments. Requires experience with UPS WorldShip and/or FedEx Manager, ERP familiarity, forklift/pallet jack preferred, Microsoft 365 proficiency, and strong English reading/writing skills. Must be able to work in a high-tech manufacturing environment, with a first-shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) and a sign-on bonus for new hires. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, maintain accurate inventory, and adhere to safety and ESD guidelines is essential. The role emphasizes attention to detail, physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally, and strong communication with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to read, speak, and understand both verbal and written instructions in the English language
- Shipping experience with UPS WorldShip and/or FedEx Manager is preferred
- Preferred experience operating a forklift and pallet jack
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or willingness to learn
- Organized self-starter with the ability to multitask
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to follow established product handling procedures while complying with safety and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) guidelines
- Able to coordinate with the Sales team to maintain on-schedule daily shipments
- Professional communication skills for phone and email interactions
