Job Summary
Communicate shipment priorities and status between clerks and shippers while managing all product, material, and supply shipments through scheduling, tracking, and documentation. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing movements, send Advance Shipping Notifications to customers, and enforce FIFO practices for outgoing finished goods. Track and update shipment statuses, load and unload trucks using a forklift, and ensure proper placement and safe handling. Support urgent orders to ensure departures within 24 hours and prevent substandard container shipments. Work Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm in a manufacturing environment requiring substantial physical activity.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in shipping and receiving
- Forklift experience required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently within a team
- Experience scanning, sorting, pulling, packing, and loading stock
- Clear communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
