Job Summary
Invoice, tag, and load customer shipments accurately and timely using Radio Frequency (RF) units and the Internal Operating System. Verify orders and charges for PSST and R&L shipments, create parcel or freight invoices, and respond to inquiries from account executives, traffic, and drivers via phone or email. Manually load pallets on conveyor by safely lifting and stacking cases, checking out equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean work area. Operate powered lift equipment requiring SanMar's Lift Operator Certification. Work in a high-volume DC environment meeting production standards and delivery deadlines, with essential days or overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Less than 1 year of experience in a warehouse
- Ability to read, write and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information
- Basic math skills in counting and quantity required
- Ability to work with customers and coworkers and keep a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company and job
- Strong customer service skills
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills; demonstrating the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities
- Ability to learn Internal Operating System(s) and operate Radio Frequency (RF) unit
- Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work efficiently, with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient typing and data entry skills
- Demonstrates ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require
- Ability to work in high-demand, high-volume environment and meet deadlines
- Able to work both independently and within a team
- Essential days or overtime may be required
Desired Qualifications
- May be required to complete and maintain SanMar's Lift Operator Certification every three years
