Job Summary
Shipping Attendant (SLC) at Dura-Line (Orbia): On-site role in Salt Lake City focusing on unloading incoming shipments, counting parts for inventory accuracy, loading outgoing shipments, transporting materials, and assisting in building reels. Requires 1 year of manufacturing/warehouse experience, forklift familiarity (certification not required but a plus), ability to perform inventory math, and English fluency (bilingual a plus). Daily duties include loading/unloading, routeing items to departments, inspecting shipments for defects, packaging as needed, labeling and documenting shipments, assisting with inventory control, and adhering to safety policies and procedures. Salary is $22/hour with benefits starting on day one, plus sign-on bonuses and opportunities for tuition reimbursement for full-time employees after one year. This is a full-time, on-site role with a Monday–Friday schedule in a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-year manufacturing/warehouse experience required
- Experience loading and unloading Flatbed Trailers is a plus
- Forklift experience required (Forklift certification is not required but is a plus)
- Ability to perform simple math for inventory and cycle counts
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently; bilingual is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Ability to spend up to 12 hours on foot around hot machinery
- Commitment to wearing required PPE; maintain clean and orderly work area
