Job Summary
Fabricate component parts for window assembly by operating power tools, saws, welders, and routers to mass-produce doors and glass units. Perform repetitive workstation operations while reading work orders, labels, and schedules to inspect products for defects and make fraction or decimal conversions. Support window operations with material delivery, wrapping, loading, and unloading as needed. Provide on-the-job training to new employees and execute any other duties assigned. Shift runs Friday through Sunday from 6 AM to 6 PM. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the US, and able to lift 50 pounds. Tape measure reading experience is preferred. Cornerstone Building Brands manufactures exterior building products including vinyl windows and siding across North America.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Must be able to read and carry out simple written instructions
- Must be able to read work orders, labels, and schedules
- Must be able to use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview)
- Must be able to inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
- Must be able to make fraction and decimal conversions
- Must be able to operate any equipment needed to perform a job
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably with experience in manufacturing
