Job Summary
Verify shipment quantities, destinations, and routing against orders; receive, unload, and sort incoming product while checking for damages and recording discrepancies. Insure, unpack, and log shipped or received goods, then prepare routine reports and file shipping/receiving records. Operate dollies and pallet jacks for loading and unloading equipment as needed. Maintain quality and safety standards by following established departmental policies and procedures. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties, including sanitation tasks, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
- Ability to receive, track, and distribute product
- Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a background investigation
- Successful completion of a drug screen
