Job Summary
Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, route items to quality inspection, and transfer accepted goods to the shipping area. Review work orders for packaging instructions, pre-package products in appropriate containers, and label shipments accurately. Print pick lists, coordinate documentation with purchasing, and complete shipping paperwork while maintaining accurate records. Ensure customer orders are packaged and shipped according to specifications and delivery requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while handling materials up to 50 pounds. Full-time Monday through Friday with overtime available based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or material handling
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar material-handling equipment
- Understanding of logistics, freight carriers, shipping processes, and warehouse operations
- Ability to read and interpret packing lists, purchase orders, work orders, and shipping documentation
- Basic computer skills and ability to work within inventory and ERP systems
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday
- Frequent use of hands for handling, packaging, labeling, and moving materials
- Frequently lift, move, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
- Occasionally lift, move, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain visual focus for inspecting materials, reading documentation, and verifying labels
- Must be able to safely work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Syteline or similar ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees across multiple departments
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and solve problems
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to safely grasp, handle, assemble, move, and package products and materials
