Shipping Associate- I (Afternoon Shift)

Job Summary
Manage outbound shipments by inspecting, packing, and preparing accurate shipping documentation for domestic and international orders. Coordinate transportation and carrier services to ensure timely delivery schedules while handling logistics for trade shows. Maintain packaging material inventories to ensure adequate supply for shipping needs. Perform bending, reaching, and lifting tasks up to 50 lbs for receiving incoming part shipments. This role is fully on-site at Silvus Technologies' Culver City warehouse, Monday through Friday from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and experience with FedEx, UPS, and DHL systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience using systems and software like FedEx, UPS, and DHL
- Experience shipping, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience shipping commercial goods to international destinations
- Highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment, meeting multiple deadlines
- Current, valid driver's license
- Clean driving record without traffic violations
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident)
- Successful clearance of a background check
- Successful clearance of a drug test
