Job Summary
Pick finished goods products from the warehouse based on work orders, stage items, and perform quality inspections to ensure accurate delivery. Pack orders in appropriate boxes, label containers, and stage shipments for transportation while performing double checks for accuracy. Replenish floor stock using pallet jacks, unload vendor vehicles, and maintain organization of storage areas including coolers and freezers. Report any damaged products to management and follow safety regulations outlined in company manuals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 0-2 years of warehouse/shipping related experience
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Working knowledge of basic computer programs
- Typing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to work in coolers and freezers for periods of time
- Ability to act independently and with a team on routine assignments and projects
- Ability to communicate professionally; both written and verbal
- Ability to pay attention to detail and perform at a high-level
- Ability to work hours that conform to business operations and/or the department needs
- Ability to problem solve; including the ability to identify problems and bring to management to evaluate a course of action
- Ability to perform quality inspections as instructed
- Ability to ensure accurate delivery of finished goods products to customers
- Ability to maintain organization and cleaning of product storage areas
- Ability to unload and load materials to/from vendor vehicles
- Ability to follow company policies and practices as outlined in Handbook
- Ability to follow guidelines regarding safety as outlined in the AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene and Exposure Control manuals
- Ability to ensure safety regulations are followed
