Job Summary
Shipping and Warehouse Supervisor responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, coordinating outbound shipments, leading cycle counts, optimizing storage locations, and supervising staff. Collaborates with health and safety to implement an effective safety program, assigns shipping and warehousing locations, coordinates shipping releases with customers and plant shipping personnel, maintains a clean and orderly warehouse, coaches direct reports, and ensures visibility into finished goods inventory using SAP, WMS, WM, AGV, and related systems. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach to achieve on-time deliveries with minimal errors or damages. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of experience in the distribution center, warehousing, and shipping
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience with a warehouse management system
- Proficient communicator and organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve and work within a team environment
- Proven ability to take initiative
