Job Summary
Manage day-to-day shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations by picking and preparing materials, generating bills of lading, and processing necessary paperwork. Oversee receiving staff, assign daily tasks, and monitor their performance while ensuring all containers are organized and filed. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and equipment inspections, consolidating items to optimize space and ensuring a clean, functional work environment. Report issues, manage conflicts, and provide tracking information to sales and management as required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with data entry on a computer
- Ability to use basic inventory software
- Skilled in the safe operation of hand jacks, lift trucks and other material handling equipment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Forklift certified or multiple years of experience
