SHIPPING AND RECEIVING WORKER - Multiple Shifts Available

Job Summary
Operate forklift to relocate, stack, wrap, and count Lifeway products; load/offload trailers and ensure accurate shipments to customers and sister company; maintain SQF-compliant procedures, use FIFO for finished goods and materials, take product temperature checks, and perform trailer inspections. Maintain accurate shipping/receiving documentation, label pallets with lot codes and quantities, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the work area. Communicate with truck drivers, stage pallets for shipment, and prepare product for storage or shipping while adhering to SOP/SSOP, HACCP, FDA/OSHA/USDA requirements. Able to work in cold environments and on multiple shifts. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift/yard tractor experience, strong communication, basic math, and proficiency with manufacturing/inventory software and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Or three to six months related experience; Or equivalent
- Experience operating yard/terminal tractor
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.; Must be able to stay on feet for entire 8-hour shift; Able to climb ladders and maneuver through equipment
- Good communications skills; Ability to read and write reports and use business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Software, Inventory Software, and Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
- Comfortable working in very cold environment
