Shipping and Receiving Warehouse

Job Summary
Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against work orders, and allocate storage space within the warehouse. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to organize pallets, replenish inventory, and move items to designated areas. Print picking tickets, process orders, and ensure quality and quantity of picked items meet customer specifications. Record damaged goods, handle returns and exchanges, and process small package orders using UPS Worldship and Fed Ex Ship Manager. Maintain clean work areas, organize shipment records, and process hazardous materials documentation. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- shipping and receiving experience
- ability to safely operate a forklift and other equipment
- acute attention to detail
- positive attitude
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months' related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Demonstrated ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-workers, departments, preferably customers and vendors
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- demonstrate the ability to solve practical problems, interpret, resolving problems and issues using a variety of instructions or guides furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs
- Regularly required to stand, bend, reach and move about the facility
