Job Summary
Oversees and coordinates shipping and receiving operations on the 2nd shift (3pm–11pm). Supervises shipping personnel, ensures conformance to policy and procedures, and manages scheduling of vacations, overtime, and training. Collaborates with Customer Service and Production Scheduling, maintains warehouse organization and cleanliness, verifies inventories, and acts as back-up for shipping/receiving activities. Participates in physical inventories, assists with shipping functions, and enforces procedures such as CTPAT, Dock Lock, and Key Surrender Board. Maintains safety practices, 5S involvement, and environmental/team responsibilities, while supporting safe and efficient plant operations. Requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and related logistics/warehouse experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or a minimum of three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
