Job Summary
Shipping and Receiving Lead overseeing intake, processing, and dispatch of orders for Schumacher North America manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming orders, preparing FedEx/UPS shipments, generating packing lists and bills of lading, palletizing and organizing shipments, inputting quantities into ERP, coordinating with internal logistics for timely pickups, ensuring proper packing and security of products, breaking down and re-palletizing as needed, coordinating customs and brokers for overseas shipments, tracking inventory and weekly shipping targets, and supporting implementation of new tracking/inventory systems. Requires strong communication, bilingual Spanish preferred, proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems, experience in receiving/counting materials, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and willingness to work overtime. Proactive, organized, and capable of cross-functional collaboration with production, logistics, and customer-facing teams.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bi-lingual (Spanish-speaking capability preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel, Outlook, Word and Access)
- Experience in receiving, counting materials and stocking materials (preferred)
- Experience working with ERP systems (preferred)
- Able to respond quickly to shifting order priorities and stay focused while working on multiple projects at once
- Able to thrive in target driven environment and proactive in meeting deadlines
- Resourceful, a creative problem solver with a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Willing to pick up additional shifts as needed (overtime pay)
- Highly organized and detail oriented with an ability to keep your workstation clean and tidy
- Able to attend phone calls and email requests from inter-company and third-party customers
- Able to handle product with care
- Able to utilize ladders and other small equipment
- Able to lift a minimum of 60lbs, bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead, push and pull heavy boxes and containers, stand for long periods of time; this is a largely active role
