Job Summary
Package finished parts for customer shipment and receive vendor deliveries after verifying purchase orders. Enter shipping and inventory data into the ERP system, file certification forms, and maintain a backorder log for jobs in progress. Prepare large freight shipments, pull materials from inventory, and assist with monthly cycle counts and physical inventory management. Answer shipping and receiving doors, maintain the dock area using 5S and lean standards, and follow production schedules to ensure on-time deliveries. Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and operate a forklift with a valid permit.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of shipping and receiving experience
- Three (3) years of inventory management experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working with ERP programs (i.e. Acumatica, Syteline, Epicor, SAP)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDSs)
- Ability to understand and willingness to support Company's quality policies and objectives
- Experience driving a forklift and possession of (or willingness to obtain) a permit for operation of a forklift
- Possession of a valid standard driver's license
- Knowledge of and ability to wear personal protective equipment necessary for duties performed
- Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision and effectively plan, organize and execute own activities
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with customers, vendors, and team members
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as required to support customer and vendor demands

- Four (4)+ years of shipping and receiving experience
- Four (4)+ years of inventory management experience
- Experience with Acumatica
