Job Summary
Shipping and receiving clerk responsible for check-in and labeling of materials, notifying purchasing of incorrect material, operating forklift and coordinating load outs. Manages project material staging, paperwork, and coordination with purchasing, line managers, and drivers for pickups and drop-offs. Maintains organized shop areas and records, demonstrates strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure accurate material handling and timely logistics.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of shipping/receiving experience
- Previous forklift experience required
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
