Job Summary
Prepare customer shipments by pulling machines and parts from inventory, crating, banding, and wrapping items for domestic and international delivery. Schedule freight trucks, load shipments using industrial equipment, and enter all data into the ERP system. Accept incoming parts from carriers, verify shipments, and restock Kanban bins and appropriate locations. Alert leadership on low packaging supply levels to ensure continuous process improvement. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexibility for overtime in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to learn domestic and International shipping procedures and paperwork in a relatively short time
- Able to work overtime as needed as well as being flexible over a wide range of tasks
- Must be self-motivated and thrive on a fast paced environment
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Oral and written communication skills
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Fork lift driving experience a plus but not necessary
