Job Summary
Load and unload trucks, stock and stage material, and organize inventory while performing general facility maintenance. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely, and pick, pack, and palletize steel products according to bill of materials and shipping labels. Check and document bill of lading paperwork, band materials, and move goods within warehouse storage areas. Must be able to lift loads of 50lbs and hold a valid medical card. Fulltime position from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. On-the-job training provided for material handling and industry knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift loads of 50lbs
- Operate Forklift and Overhead Crane
- Have a base level knowledge of basic rigging and steel material
- Ability to lift heavy materials on a regular basis
- Hand, mark and document BOL paperwork
- Forklift operation and safety
- Overhead Crane operation and safety
- Material handling equipment, and hand tools
- Banding materials
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Card and ability to Drive a Truck under 26,000# a plus
