Job Summary
Process and verify incoming shipments against work orders, then prepare outgoing pallet loads while maintaining accurate digital logs. Coordinate loading and unloading schedules with carriers and drivers, acting as the primary contact for truck drivers, vendors, and visitors. Use inventory management software to optimize workflow and perform pre-shift door checks to assign loads safely. Ensure compliance with safety policies and support office management, accounting, and customer service as needed. This bilingual role requires one year of shipping/receiving experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Detail-oriented
- Multitasker
- Ability to track shipments and spot discrepancies
- Work well with internal teams and external partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to operate forklift
- Knowledge of OSHA and MSDS
- Ability to coordinate loading and unloading schedules with carriers and drivers
- Ability to serve as main point of contact for truck drivers, vendors, and visitors
