Job Summary
Load and unload tractor trailers using a forklift, plan container movements, and maintain a clean work zone. Record accurate weights of inbound and outbound materials, enter data with pictures into company databases, and ensure correct labeling on all shipments. Track material movement throughout the facility, create bills of lading, manage traffic flow, and organize paperwork. Perform quality control on finished goods, mark non-conforming items, and answer shipping or receiving concerns as they arise. Receive packages, parts, and materials with accurate recording and storage. Work in a self-directed manner to receive at least 100 tons per day to support production needs, ensuring zero customer rejections.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Read, write and speak English fluently
- Valid driver's license
- forklift certification
- Be proficient in data entry with minimal errors

- Specific vision abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

- Prolonged periods of sitting in a forklift as well as frequently in and out of forklift
- Exposure to outdoor temperatures year-round, occasional precipitation
- Exposure to unpleasant odors, flies and pests
- Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30 pm or 7am to 5:30pm
- Occasional Fridays as needed
- Weekends off
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more experience in shipping and receiving
- Warehouse management experience
- Knowledge of recycling industry
- Familiarity with Netsuite
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- College degree
