Job Summary
Pick and stage parts using an RF system, verify rust-free status, and ensure proper containerization while maintaining FIFO inventory flow. Create shipping labels, enter transactions into QAD, and ship via UPS, FedEx, or truck lines with full paperwork verification. Load and unload trucks using a forklift, operate the de-rust machine, and manage battery maintenance. Contain suspect parts, create manifests, and support QA personnel by monitoring preproduction tags. Identify waste, suggest efficiency improvements, and adhere to ISO and TS16949 quality standards. Work the first shift (6:30am–2:30pm) with overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months of prior shipping/receiving experience, including hilo
- A P&C hilo license, or the ability to pass both written and practical tests to obtain one
- Solid computer experience using Microsoft applications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- An excellent work record, including attendance
- Must be able to create, confirm, and send ASN's for customer orders within QAD
- Must pass a background check prior to beginning work
