Shipping and Quality Manager

Job Summary
Lead and oversee Shipping, Inventory, and Quality operations for Dalhart chip storage facilities, ensuring efficient shipping, accurate inventory records, and adherence to product quality standards. Serve as primary contact for customers, consultants, and shared services regarding schedules, inventories, and quality concerns; coordinate with Farm Manager, Storage Managers, and Lab and Quality Supervisor to maintain operational consistency and contract performance; develop and implement shipping, inventory control, and quality assurance procedures; walk bins with quality personnel to ensure alignment between shipping and storage; drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction; require a BS in agriculture or equivalent experience and 3+ years in crop shipping/storage/quality assurance or related fields; US driver’s license; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree in an Ag related field or equivalent operational experience
- At least three years of experience in crop shipping, storage operations, produce quality assurance, or agricultural logistics management
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of produce storage, shipping logistics, inventory management, and quality control systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, including the ability to train, coach, and work effectively with operational teams on the farm
- A valid US driver’s license or the ability to obtain one and pass vehicle insurance verification
Desired Qualifications
