Shipping and Packaging Associate - Fewell Monument

Job Summary
Examine and quality inspect all produced product to match customer orders, then crate and assemble granite pieces to conform to specifications. Develop bills of lading, validate shipping addresses, and load trucks with finished orders for shipment to cemeteries. Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move product throughout the plant while participating in physical inventory counting. Process daily shipping paperwork and coordinate delivery and installation of memorials. Maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance and adhere to safety and OSHA regulations. High school diploma required; experience in factory/warehouse operations and material handling equipment preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Have transportation to work
- Good communication skills
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Present a clean, well-groomed appearance
- Able to drive and handle fork lift trucks
- Able to read and understand order processing procedures
- Able and willing to follow company policies including safety and OSHA regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in general production/factory/warehouse operations and in the use of material handling equipment such as fork lifts
- Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the workday
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
