Job Summary
Participate in CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the Safety Culture by following rules, regulations, and PPE requirements. Perform daily housekeeping duties, remove side boards from road trailers, and prepare trailers for outbound deliveries. Understand inventory processes and bin layouts to guide, position, and land bundles while placing dunnage and loading material onto trucks per pick ticket instructions. Scan tags on trucks after placing finished product for shipping. Operate production machines and mobile equipment like forklifts and yard trucks in accordance with established procedures. Work a rotating shift including weekends and holidays, with ability to work overtime when required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes, and confined spaces. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
- Ability to work a rotating shift, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
- High School Diploma or GED
