Job Summary
Shipping and Customs Specialist responsible for securing timely import and shipping of goods at optimal cost, ensuring correct documentation, tariff classification, and prompt customs clearance; support adherence to ISAG contracts, negotiate with port authorities and carriers to minimize costs; maximize benefits from Free Trade Agreements, liaise with government agencies and vendors, and contribute to country business plans and expansion projects. Must demonstrate knowledge of customs regulations for import/export, documentation, planning, prioritization, analytical skills, problem solving, cost-effective performance, and strong communication within a fast-paced retail logistics environment.
