Job Summary
Inspect incoming deliveries for damage or discrepancies, retrieve items from storage, and package them securely with correct labels. Prepare shipping and receiving reports, update tracking data, and register product orders while distributing packages. Organize, clean, and stock the area; count inventory, maintain accurate logs, and schedule large shipments. Follow company policies, safety procedures, and environmental regulations while operating standing and sitting forklifts or pallet jacks. Work in a freezer/cooler environment (-0 to 32+ degrees) using WMS/SAGE software and hand-held scanners. Perform daily tasks while adhering to food safety, GMP, and workplace safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work in a freezer/cooler environment (-0 to 32+ degrees)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic level of reading, writing, counting, and label-checking skills
- Perform daily tasks while following all food safety, GMP, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Maintain strong organizational and time management skills
- Communicating effectively with team members
- WMS/SAGE software
- Hand-held scanners and tablets
- Operate standing and sitting forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment safely
